Preview Trackside Creative

Trackside Creative will be hosting a BLOCH PARTY on Friday, May 12. Trackside Creative is a space in Orlando West that serves as an artist studio/ live performance platform that has been in operation for the last four and a half years and boasts having hosted numerous diverse cultural events. The organization’s emphasis is on the community’s involvement in the arts where both young and old are equally engaged.

Musicians such as Sibusile Xaba, Projektah, The Unusual, L8 Antique, Men of the Past and DJs TrueJones and Kuttin’ Keith will connect in the spirit of contributing to the Bloch’s global character.
A print workshop involving the neighborhood’s youth lead by the After School Art Project (ASAP) will open up the festivities in the afternoon from 2 PM. Content generated will be structured around the Bloch narrative. Those who are young at heart are also welcome to participate. The evening program will include live music from Johannesburg’s favorite bands, and DJ-ing from Trackside’s choice selectors TrueJones and Kuttin’Keith. They keep you on your feet, stomping and gyrating all while the Bloch holds center stage

Date: Friday, May 12, afternoon – 02 am
Venue: Trackside Creative, 8364 Twala Street, Orlando West, Soweto, Gauteng
Phone: 011 056 9027, Cell: 081 889 1950, Email: infoy@trackside.co.za
